Welcome to the General Omnipotence Denominator (GOD) Test v2.0. Several of these things have been floating around for years, and considering the number of immortals and uberpowerful characters we have, we just wanted to see how they stacked up on the God List. So we've created our own Test with Kaerwyn denizens in mind. We'll be adding this to the character sheets, so make it count! Choose the answer that best describes your character. Rate your character based on how they are on a standard "normal" day. Do not base your answers on special events, such as temporary curses/conditions, special fights, etc. Remember to rate your character honestly. -=+ Many Many thanks to Tanabi for making a little calculation script for the God Test!!! +=- 1. What is your character's Race? (0) Humans and Humanoids (i.e. Humans, Elves, Basically it looks like a human save minor physical alterations, such as ears, tails, and other insignificant "parts". Does not include wings or anything that could be "of significant use" to the character). No significant racial abilities/powers/attributes. (0) Mundane Creatures (As would appear on Earth, save for ability to talk, etc.) No significant racial abilities/powers/attributes. (2) Mundane WereCreature, Vampire, Mundane AnthroAnimal, Kaetif, Otherwise "Mundane" Humanoids or Animals with nonmundane racial abilities/powers/attributes. (3) Fantasy creatures (Including Werecreatures) - No larger than a Shire Horse (approx 1 ton) - with no special racial abilities (eg flight, firebreathing) and Mechanical Creatures (Androids, Cyborgs, etc) with no significant abilities (Super strength, perfect recall, etc) (4) Fantasy creatures larger than a 1 ton Shire Horse (with or without racial abilities), General Shapeshifters, Demons, Characters with significant racial abilities. Mechanical creatures with significant abilities. 2. What is your character's mortality rating? (-1) Mortal with no protection. (Can't even run away, Die from fatal hits) (0) Mortal with mundane protection (armor, bulletproof vest, running) In other words, they won't necessarily die from a potentially fatal hit. (2) Mortal but with special abilities or circumstances to protect from dying easily, (By means technological, magical or otherwise, Regeneration, Shields, etc) (5) Immortal, but can die by special, but common, circumstances (Such as severe allergy, staked in the heart, decaptiation etc) (8) Immortal, cannot die or cannot die very easily. 3. What physical forms is your character capable of taking? Note for Mage characters: If they can shapeshift others, skip this and select the checkboxes in #14. (0) Humanoid (1) Single Non-Human form (Such as Kaetif, Regular Animals, Etc) (2) Fixed Dual Form Creature ( Such as a Werecreature.) (3) 3+ form, Restricted Shapeshifter (For Example, can change only into Canines, or Other Humans, or animals you've had contact with, etc.) (6) 3+ Forms, Generic Shapeshifter/No Fixed Form (Can change into several things, but not related.) Limited number of forms. (15) Completely Unrestricted Shapeshifter, Several forms (or no restrictions/requirements on forms it can take.) Unlimited number of forms. (4) Character has capability to gain new forms, or learn to shapeshift into other new (for them) forms. 4. What Repercussions do you take for shapeshifting immediately after the change? (If Shapeshifter) (-1) Character passes out for several minutes, or in extreme pain to the point of temporary paralysis or incapacitation. Or takes several minutes to completely the shift, rendering the character useless during that time. (0) Not an innate Shapeshifter. May require the use of magic, trinket or ritual to Shapeshift. (1) Extremely weakened, cannot fight, but at least they aren't passed out. (3) Phased for a moment between shapeshifts, but otherwise shows no effect of having shifted. (5) Completely unphased, can shapeshift without any repercussions at all. 5. What is your character's level of Fighting ability? This includes "Potential" fighting skills. (-1) Couldn't defend themselves if they wanted to. (0) Won't start a fight, but will defend thyself. (1) Unskilled, but will fight. Either untrained or Out-of-Practice in any combat/weapons. (2) Pretty good with a particular or preferred weapon, but not trained to use it. Includes Fists. (3) Damn good using a certain type of weaponry (Swords/Daggers or Guns, Blunt Objects, Fists, etc) Have marginal training and/or experience. (4) If you can hold it, it's a weapon. Also for characters that use a variety of weapons. If you can't hold it, you are a weapon. (Hand to Hand Combat Training and Skills) (5) Will kick ass, Will take names, and Will come out victorious. Skilled in god knows how many weapons and/or hand to hand fighting techniques. 6. What Offensive capabilities does your character possess? This includes "Potential" offensive skills. (3) Very Strong, Very powerful Weapons (Rifles, Rail Guns, Plasma Weaponry, Particle Canons) Very Powerful/Destructive Magics. Extreme Strength counts as well. (4) Very Powerful and Unique Magically or Technologically Enhanced Weaponry or Abilities. (Most likely part of the character itself). Extreme Strength counts as well. (5) Destroyer of Worlds, bringer of Armageddon, The Finger of God. This Character Makes Tornados Look Tidy. 7. What Defensive Capabilities does your Character Possess? This includes "Potential" defensive skills. (-1) None, they're dead meat in a battle. (0) They can defend themselves at least by running away. (1) Enough fighting skill to block attacks, or has some kind of wearable protection (Such as body armor, finite magical protection, etc) (2) Agile enough to dodge a lot of attacks and/or Better Blocking Abilities, Tougher, and/or magically/technologically enhanced protection/armor. (6) Super Fast Speed and Agility, Bioarmour and Energy Shielding (Be it Technological or Magical) (8) I never get hit, whatever threatens me I can destroy them before they even try. 8. How fast does your character Heal? (-1) Healing Hindrance - Has a problem healing, perhaps needs something special to heal, or magic. Or cannot be healed by outside attempts (magic, medicine, technology, etc). (0) Normal human/animal healing rate. (1) Fast healing. Recovers from severe wounds within a few days. (5) I didn't even get scratched.... (3) Character has ability to Regenerate Limbs. 9. What kind of Magical/extrasensory abilities does your character possess? (This includes magic, telepathy, ESP, Telekinesis, Psychic Abilities, projected energy attacks/defenses, etc) This includes "Potential" magical abilities. (-1) Character is allergic/prone to all magics, completely unable to wield magics. This means that magic is LETHAL to them, and puts them in near mortal danger around any magics. (0) None. (2) Minor magics/abilities, basic healing, basic harming, basic defense, but not very powerful, or character does not have much control over, or extremely restricted. (10) None for any magic. 11. Mental Prowess - Rate this from the -1 through 6 scale of -1 being extremely stupid, to a 6 of being extremely intelligent or experienced. (-1) The Phrase "Dumb as dirt" is an understatement. These characters have very little intelligence, and very little, if any education. They probably can't speak very well in any language. These characters have next to nothing for problem solving abilities as well. Toddlers and regular animals might qualify for this one. (0) You haven't gotten yourself killed yet! These characters have some ability to think under their own brainpower, but they still lack a significant education, or experience. Very young children and some regular animals might qualify for this one. (1) Sharp as a butter knife. At least you can cut butter. Not much education or experience in life. May have some schooling, but not much. They can at least read and write, and communicate on at least a middle school level. (2) Some common sense, street smarts or education. These are probably your typical high school dropouts. They've got enough education to somehow make it to their sophomore year in high school, but no more. What they lack in education, they might have made up for it in "street smarts". However they are neither experienced or skilled in survival. We tend to call them 'lucky'. (3) Average Intelligence for an Adult. These characters probably have, at least, the equivalent to a high school education, and likely some college level work behind them. If they don't have a formal education, they've definitely made up for it with a lot of experience in life. Characters who aren't formally schooled with this intelligence were likely trained for other things, or have enough experience to survive on their own without much assistance. (4) A Paperclip, some gum, and a piece of paper will get you out of any situation. A great deal of Common Sense and/or a Decent Education is on your side. If you're lacking in education, you make up for it in experience. For schooled characters, you're at least in league with someone that's had a good amount of basic college education. If you're not educated, then you have a lot of experience in a variety of situations in life. If you had the skills for it, you'd make a good teacher for all you've learned and experienced. (5) These characters have, at least, graduated college or are considered masters in their field from experience alone. For characters who aren't trained or educated, these are the types that can easily survive on their own, and beat any challenges that might come their way. Immortal characters, who have lived longer than a typical lifetime, should probably select this one. (6) Extremely experienced, wise, educated or genius level intelligence (For an adult). Characters that are over 300 years old should be able to select this one from life-experience alone. These characters can typically handle any situation thrown at them, from physical confrontations (Talking their way out of it, or escaping) to tackling intellectual issues (using their problem solving abilities plus education/experience). 12. What kind of magical Trinkets and Technogadgets does your character carry? (0) Nothing. (1) Minor little Trinkets that serve little purpose. (2) I have a few, but they're worthless after they're used once. (Magic items, flash grenades, etc) (3) Several expendable things, or one very useful item (Lots of the above, scanners, scouters, scanpacks, nonmotorized vehicles, etc) (4) Several major or one unique trinket (Several of the above, or Special Hard-To-Get items, slave collars, etc) (5) Several unique items. You're loaded with shit. (10) Magically, technologically, or some other kinda enhanced items of significant value or use. 13. How much willpower does your character possess? (-1) Your mind often belongs to someone else. (0) You mind changes with the breeze. (1) I can make my own decisions, no really... sometimes... when someone else does it for me. (2) I'm somewhat headstrong. (3) I'm pretty damn stubborn. (4) When I make up my mind, I stick to it. (5) I am willpower baybeee. 14. Modifiers for special character abilities/conditions: (1) Better than Human Night Vision (1) Invisibility/Cloaking/Blending Only (broken during an action) (3) Invisibility (non broken during actions) (1) Telepathy/ESP/Psychic Abilities. (1) Minor Telekinesis Only (Can move small objects weighing no more than a few pounds) (2) Major Telekinesis (Can move large objects. like tables and couches) (1) Flight using obvious means (Such as wings, mechanical devices, etc) (2) Flight using no obvious methods (Flying without wings or propulsion) (2) Teleportation with use of machines/magic. (4) Teleportation by innate natural ability. (2) Ability to Read thoughts. (3) Read thoughts without person knowing. (2) Exceptional Strength (up to twice human) (4) Exceptional Strength (over twice human) (2) Exceptional Agility (up to twice human) (4) Exceptional Agility (over twice human) (2) Exceptional Senses (4) Ability to fully enter a person's mind. (5) Ability to mentally possess another person. (2) Characters that carry a transmittable/communicable lycanthropic (or similiar) curse. This goes for vampirism as well. (4) Mage Characters with the ability to make minor shapeshifting alterations to their own, or another character's physical form. The character should not gain any points on their GT score. This requires consent of the other character. (6) Mage characters with the ability to make significant alterations to their own, or another character's physical form. This does not require consent of the other character. 15. Weapon Modifiers - Fill in the number of each you carry: (2) Large Manual-Force Weapons (Swords, Axes, Maces) (1) Small Manual Force Weapons (Daggers 3"+, Knives, etc) (3) Small Handguns, Lesser Energy Weapons, Explosive/Energy/Frag Grenades, Other Projectile Weaponry (Archery, Bullets, Phasors, -Lasers, ForceLance, etc) (5) Large Handguns/Energy Weapons/Projectile Weapons (Crossbows, Phasor Rifles, Disruptors, Rifles, ForceLance that shoots) (8) Uber Weaponry (Magically enhanced weapons, Particle Weaponry, Rail Guns, Grenade Launcher, etc) (2) Throwing Daggers/Stars (If daggers are smaller than 3" in length) Up to 6. These cannot be used for any other purpose than throwing (Specialized). (2) Pepper Spray (Per Can, 10 shot), Flash Grenades, Smoke Bombs, other small one-time-use items.(Score per each use) *Note Pepper Spray will require your Def score go up. (1) Natural Physical Weapons (Fangs, Claws, Sharp Beak, Horns, etc) If you're playing a Werecreature, you probably need to click this. 16. Vehicles (Only take this part if you have been approved for a vehicle from the Kaerwyn Op Staff) (10) Select this if you have a vehicle. Okay, take all them little numbers, add 'em up, subtract the negatives, and compare them to our results. Or if you filled out the form you can just press this thing: Below 0: Dragon Bait 0 - 10: Yer still alive?? Damn, yer one lucky mother fucker. 11 - 20: You're what we call a statistic. 21 - 30: You can kick ass, and take names, but you're usually too busy brooding over something. 31- 40: You likely have far too many weapons or magickal skills, but you still suck. 41 - 50: You secretly want your character to be a god, but try to hide it with a lower score. 51 - 60: Yer inversely proportional to yer character's attributes... you meek little wanna-be you. 61+: Yer worshipped in some far off civilization. Or you're a Kaerwyn Dragon. Either way you suck. Test was last updated: March 18, 2008.
